Head of Tax Audit Department

International audit company "PKF Georgia" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Head of Tax Audit Department.

We are looking for a professional and result-oriented person who will lead the tax audit direction, ensure high standards of service quality and contribute to the development and growth of the department.

• Probation period: 6 months

• Work schedule: Full-time, 5 working days

• Working hours: 10:00-18:30

• Workplace: Tbilisi, Iakob Nikoladze #3

Main responsibilities:

• Planning, organizing and managing the activities of the Tax Audit Department;

• Leading tax audit and tax inspection projects;

• Identifying tax risks for clients and preparing relevant recommendations;

• Monitoring changes in tax legislation and practice and assessing their impact;

• Providing professional consultations on tax issues;

• Managing the audit team, distributing work and controlling the quality of work performed;

• Reviewing tax audit reports and other professional documentation;

• Managing professional relationships with clients and developing long-term cooperation;

• Participating in the business development of the department and identifying new opportunities;

• Ensuring compliance with the company's internal professional and quality control standards.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education in finance, accounting, economics, law or a related field;

• At least 5 years of professional experience in tax audit, tax consulting or audit;

• Good knowledge of tax legislation and tax accounting;

• Experience in independently managing tax audit projects;

• Team management and leadership experience;

• High sense of responsibility and analytical thinking skills;

• Effective communication and negotiation skills with clients;

• Good knowledge of Georgian and English languages;

• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
