Infection Control Manager Nurse

Medical company is announcing a vacancy for the position of Infection Control Manager Nurse.

The company is a medical institution located in the center of Tbilisi, focused on patient well-being and safety.

Work schedule: Full-time

Main functions and responsibilities:

• Planning, implementing, and monitoring infection prevention and control measures in the hospital;
• Participating in the development and update of internal infection control protocols;
• Monitoring hand hygiene, asepsis, antisepsis, and sterilization processes;
• Controlling medical waste management and environmental cleaning-disinfection processes;
• Conducting trainings on infection control issues for medical personnel, relevant records, and raising awareness;
• Monitoring hospital-associated infections, recording, and analyzing data;
• Identifying revealed discrepancies in the infection control direction and planning corrective actions;
• Participating in internal audits and quality improvement activities;
• Participating in preparing and updating documentation necessary for hospital accreditation;
• Monitoring compliance with accreditation standards and collaborating with relevant structural units;
• Generating reports and relevant documentation.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher or professional medical education in the field of nursing;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar or analogous position
• Knowledge of computer and office programs
• Communicative level of English and Russian languages
