Accountant

Alpha Insurance is announcing a vacancy for an Accountant position.

Work location: Tbilisi, A. Kazbegi St. №16 Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 09:00-18:00

Main responsibilities

• Recording and classification of operations according to the company's accounting policy;
• Processing bank statements and program accounting;
• Reflection of purchased goods/services in the accounting program based on relevant documents;
• Control of low-value goods balance for compliance with the warehouse program, write-off of used goods at the end of each month;
• Description/control of fuel balance for company-owned vehicles, write-off of used fuel based on an act;
• Control of accountable amounts;
• Participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as needed;
• Performance of other profile tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification requirements

• Higher education in the field of economics (with a focus on accounting or finance);
• At least 2 years of experience working as an accountant and at least 1 year of experience working in the insurance field;
• Knowledge of tax code and basic accounting principles;
• Experience working with ORIS accounting program is desirable;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
