Georgian Language Teacher

Language Learning Center is seeking a Georgian Language Teacher for a small group of 5-6 people.

What you will do

• Conduct group Georgian language lessons for adults.
• Plan and structure each lesson: grammar, vocabulary, conversation practice, reading, and listening.
• Select or create teaching materials, exercises, and additional resources.
• Assign, check, and provide feedback on homework.
• Monitor the group's progress and adjust the curriculum as needed.
• Maintain a friendly and motivated environment during lessons.

Format and Schedule

• Group: 5-6 people.
• Approximately 4 lessons per week.
• Each lesson lasts 90 minutes.
• Flexible schedule; we will discuss the exact timing with the selected candidate.
• Lessons take place at the Language Learning Center.
• Individual lessons can be conducted at students' request; terms and compensation will be discussed separately.

Compensation

• 40 GEL per group lesson (90 minutes).
• Possible salary increase after a trial period or with good attendance.
• Compensation for individual lessons will be discussed separately.

We expect

• Fluent Georgian language skills.
• Basic knowledge of Russian - to explain material to beginner students.
• Teaching experience is desirable, but the ability to explain material clearly and conduct lessons is essential.
• Responsibility, accuracy, and organization.
• Ability to prepare lessons, teaching materials, and homework independently.

Advantage

• Experience working with foreign students or adult groups.
• Knowledge of modern language teaching methods.
