Information Technology Specialist

"Buckswood School - Tbilisi" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Information Technology Specialist (IT).

"Buckswood International School" was established in 2000 as the United Nations Association International School in Tbilisi. In 2007, the school moved to Upper Tkuznieti, where it received the name of Buckswood School in 2009. Thus, the first educational space in Georgia was created, based on the traditional British educational model, which already has 26 years of experience in the field of education.

As of 2023, the new campus of Buckswood School is operating on Gelovani.

Competition rules and stages:

• The first stage involves selection based on the presented documentation according to the qualification requirements;
• The second stage will involve an interview with the head of the department;
• At the third stage, an interview will be held with the school's academic director and HR/development manager.
• During the competition, the school will proactively contact only the candidates who have moved to the next stage.
• After the competition is completed, any applicant has the right to request information about the results in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of Georgia.

Work experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in the field of IT support (experience working in an educational institution will be considered a priority).

Required competencies:

• Perfect command of the Georgian language; technical level of English (for working with documentation and programs);
• In-depth knowledge, installation, and configuration of computer equipment, peripheral devices (printers, projectors, smart boards), and operating systems (Windows, macOS);
• Basic administration and troubleshooting of local networks (LAN, Wi-Fi), telephone and video monitoring systems;
• Providing daily technical support to school staff and students, processing incoming requests (IT Tickets) promptly;
• Ensuring the smooth operation of electronic platforms (Zoom, Google Workspace) used in the educational process and managing user access;
• Periodic monitoring of the technical base, preventive maintenance, inventory of supplies, and software updates.

Personal qualities:

• Ability to quickly analyze and effectively solve problems, attention to detail;
• High sense of responsibility, punctuality, and ability to work mobilized in stressful situations;
• Polite communication, customer orientation, and ability to explain technical issues in simple language;
• Teamwork, organization, and close cooperation with the technical director and school administration.

Working hours: 09:30 - 17:00 (Monday - Friday);

Remuneration: The remuneration procedure at Buckswood is individual and is determined by agreement with the candidate in accordance with the competitive criteria.
