Information about the organization:

"Kakheti Regional Development Center" was established in 2019 as a local non-governmental organization, although the organization has been operating in three municipalities of Kakheti region - Telavi, Kvareli and Gurjaani since 2008, as an international organization World Vision Georgia's Regional Development Program.

The mission of the Center is to improve the quality of life of children, youth and their families living in the Kakheti region by developing and providing needs-based services.

"Kakheti Regional Development Center" provides two state services to children and their families in Kvareli and Akhmeti municipalities: a child rehabilitation-habilitation subprogram and an early childhood development subprogram. In addition, in both municipalities, with the funding of the mayor's office, the Center implements multi-service programs.

The multi-service program of "Kakheti Regional Development Center" implies supporting children aged 0-18 and, if necessary, their parents (families) by providing appropriate services. The goal of the program is to support the child's speech, psycho-emotional, social and physical development using an individual approach and to strengthen the family.

"Kakheti Regional Development Center" is looking for a Psychologist to work in Akhmeti Municipality in state-funded child rehabilitation-habilitation services and multi-service programs.

Workplace: Akhmeta city - 1 vacant position.

Workload: Part-time (pre-determined and agreed schedule)

Main responsibilities of the Psychologist:

Assessment of children with appropriate tools; Planning therapeutic activities according to the individual needs of the child; Conducting therapies using various techniques (tailored to the child's needs and interests); Close communication with the child's parents/family; Analysis of results and sharing with the multi-team; Preparation of a report on the work done and submission to the supervisor in the required manner and frequency.

Qualification requirements:

Higher education in Psychology; Knowledge of child age-related development features; Knowledge of developmental disorders features; Ability to identify and support interests and abilities. Ability to provide support and empathy; Effective communication, gaining trust, listening, understanding and building relationships; Flexibility and independence; Self-control and maintaining calm in difficult and stressful situations; Planning and organization skills;

Mandatory requirements:

• Work experience in the specialty;

• Knowledge of computer office programs;

• Communication skills;

• Ability to concentrate on details;

• Professional development skills;

• Planning and organization skills;

• Positive and professional approach: results-oriented, proactive;

• Writing skills.
