Driver Assistant

"Georgia's News / Mountain News" in Tbilisi is announcing a vacancy for a Driver Assistant position.

The salary will be determined considering the candidate's skills and experience. Part-time work or service provision is not considered.

Work schedule: Due to the specifics of the media, the possibility of working in a non-standard regime.

Main responsibilities

• Constant, intensive communication with the leader and coordinator and active participation in planning and implementing various activities or campaigns in coordination with them (both in field and office conditions) - this process includes studying and facilitating the solution of important problems for the population in the regions of Georgia;

• Active assistance to the team in field and office conditions - this includes preparing, transporting, assembling equipment, participating in setting up a field studio; performing simple technical tasks for the operator and other team members if necessary, and constantly developing professional skills.

• Performing preparatory work for field trips - scouting locations, monitoring weather forecasts and assessing risks, mobilizing necessary resources, and communicating with local contacts;

• Ensuring the safe movement of filming groups and team members with the company's vehicle, both in Tbilisi and in the regions (including high-altitude settlements with difficult terrain);

• Controlling the technical condition of the company's vehicle, maintaining the vehicle, and ensuring cleanliness;

• Preparing a monthly report on vehicle expenses (fuel, depreciation, parking).

• Operationally resolving various organizational issues at the request of management;

Requirements

• Higher or professional education (desirable);

• Conversational knowledge of English or Russian (preference will be given);

• Driving license (category B) and at least 5 years of active driving experience (required);

• High sense of responsibility: for us, driving a vehicle means caring for the team's safety;

• Willingness to work in difficult terrain and non-standard schedules.
