Competition (qualification) requirements for the academic staff of the Faculty of Medicine:

It should be noted that in the case of the English-language program of a diplomaed doctor, a document confirming proficiency in English is a mandatory requirement for any academic position, which can be one of the following documents:

• A document confirming at least 3 years of teaching experience in an English-language program;

• A document confirming the implementation of medical activities in English at a foreign clinic (for at least 1 year);

• A document confirming the implementation of educational/research activities in English in the field of biomedicine at a foreign research institution (for at least 1 year);

• Completion of an English-language pre-diploma or post-diploma program, confirmed by a relevant document;

• An internationally recognized certificate of English language proficiency at least at B2 level (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, UNIcert, EnglishScore, etc.)

Base direction:

To occupy the academic position of Professor (on an academic basis):

• A person with a doctoral or equivalent academic degree, who has at least 6 years of scientific and pedagogical work experience;

• A person who has published scientific publications (within the last 5 years) in the direction of the relevant training course topics or is a co-author;

• A person who has experience in developing a relevant training course (syllabus);

• A person must undergo training in medical education methodology every two years, confirmed by a relevant certificate;

• An internationally recognized certificate of English language proficiency at least at B2 level (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, UNIcert, EnglishScore, etc.)

To occupy the academic position of Associate Professor (on an academic basis):

• A doctoral or equivalent academic degree;

• At least 3 years of scientific and pedagogical work experience;

• Published scientific publications (within the last 5 years) in the direction of the relevant training course topics or co-authorship;

• Experience in developing a relevant training course (syllabus);

• A person must undergo training in medical education methodology every two years, confirmed by a relevant certificate;

• An internationally recognized certificate of English language proficiency at least at B2 level (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge English, UNIcert, EnglishScore, etc.)

To occupy the academic position of Assistant Professor (on an academic scale):

• A doctoral academic degree or an equivalent scientific degree;
• Published scientific publication(s) in the field of the relevant academic course(s) (within the last 5 years);
• At least 3 years of pedagogical experience;
• Experience in developing a relevant academic course (syllabus);
