Verifying the name, dose, quantity and administration scheme of the drug according to the doctor's prescription. Determining the required dose and final concentration of the drug and calculating the volumes needed for preparation. Opening, reconstituting and diluting cytotoxic and other infusion drugs as needed. Preparing drugs in aseptic conditions, in a specially designated space equipped with appropriate safety standards. Labeling the prepared drug, including patient data, drug name, dose, concentration, preparation time and usage conditions. Ensuring safe and proper storage and transportation of prepared medications. Timely and safe transfer of prepared drugs to nurses for further administration and infusion to the patient. Complying with labor safety, infection control and biosafety requirements when working with cytotoxic drugs. Participating in the safe management of used materials and cytotoxic waste and adhering to relevant procedures. Maintaining relevant documentation of the drug preparation process and ensuring accounting of prepared medications.
Requirements:
The candidate must be a graduate of the pharmacy faculty or have relevant qualifications as a pharmacist. Experience working in a similar position is desirable. High sense of responsibility. Punctuality and discipline.
