Product Owner for ServiceNow ITSM

Andersen is hiring a Product Owner for ServiceNow ITSM for a project enhancing IT service management in telecommunications and optimizing workflows, automation, and operational efficiency. Our customer is a European technology services provider delivering consulting, software engineering, and digital transformation solutions to organizations across multiple industries. Its expertise spans cloud technologies, cybersecurity, system integration, and IT infrastructure services, helping businesses modernize their technology environments and streamline operations. By combining technical expertise with a customer-focused approach, the company supports organizations in improving efficiency, strengthening security, and achieving long-term business goals. The project is focused on implementing and enhancing ServiceNow ITSM solutions within a telecommunications environment. It aims to digitalize and optimize service assurance, fulfilment, and rollout processes, improving workflow automation, operational efficiency, and overall IT service management capabilities.

Responsibilities: - Leading the definition and implementation of new features and platform enhancements, initially focusing on ITSM. - Providing recommendations on backlog prioritization to DG’s internal Product Owner and technical teams. - Providing guidance on effective end-to-end processes and integrations, including ServiceNow–Jira handovers from L1/L2 support to L3 development. - Providing knowledge transfer and mentoring to DG’s junior Product Owner - Translating business and operational requirements into clear epics, user stories and acceptance criteria. - Providing expert guidance and recommendations regarding the work of the integration partner, particularly for assurance capabilities.

Requirements: - Hands-on experience as a Product Owner for 2+ years, including backlog management, mentoring junior Product Owners, collaboration with implementation teams, and technical acceptance testing. - Knowledge of ITSM processes and experience driving enhancements on live ITSM platforms. - Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, including Workflow Manager. - Deep practical knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Request Management, including how these processes are configured and integrated within ServiceNow. - Ability to challenge requirements and proposed solutions, assess standard ServiceNow capabilities and guide teams towards maintainable solutions. - Strong experience translating operational needs into actionable user stories, managing priorities and validating delivered functionality. - Strong understanding of Service Assurance and L1/L2/L3 support processes. - Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate+.

Nice to have: - Experience steering system integrators and coaching less experienced Product Owners through practical collaboration. - Telecommunications experience is a significant advantage. - Knowledge of German.

Compensation: 1300–2800 EUR per month.
