Senior Accountant - Hybrid Schedule

A 10+ year old trade and distribution company (B2B and B2C, with its own warehouse and delivery system) is looking for an experienced accountant to independently ensure the accuracy of accounting, tax and financial reporting.

The essence of the position: The sales team creates primary documentation (invoices, bills of lading). The focus of the accountant is the accuracy of accounting, control, tax reporting and preparation of financial statements for management.

Daily activities:

Creation and control of bank transactions (payment orders); Processing of bank operations and control of financial balances; Control of the correctness of accounting entries.

Periodic duties:

Preparation and timely submission of monthly tax declarations (VAT, income, pension, etc.); Work on RS.ge with invoices, notifications and other relevant modules; Comparison acts with suppliers and buyers, control of debtors and creditors; Management of self-costs; management of zero-stock goods and closure of the month; Preparation of financial statements: profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow; Statistical and annual reporting, participation in audits.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience as an accountant, of which at least 2 years as a senior or chief accountant, with independent production of a full cycle; Practical experience in preparing financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, Cashflow), mandatory; Experience in independently preparing and submitting declarations; In-depth practice on RS.ge, good knowledge of the Tax Code; High-level Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables); Knowledge of FINA is an advantage.

Terms:

Salary: 2,600-3,000 ₾ per month, depending on qualifications and practical experience; Working hours: Monday to Friday; Probation period 2/3 months, onsite (Nadzaladevi); After the probation period, the possibility of working remotely 2 days a week. Full availability during working hours is mandatory.
