Accountant

"Elmantage" - a company operating in the field of electrical engineering and electrical installation, participating in significant infrastructure projects, is looking for an Accountant to join its team.

Location: Tbilisi, Vanis St. 5

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00-18:00

Probation period: 6 months

Salary: 2500 GEL (net)

Position purpose: The main goal of this position is to support the effective management of the company's accounting processes, ensure the accuracy and transparency of financial data, and ensure the smooth conduct of the company's daily financial operations.

Key functions and responsibilities:

Management of the accounting process in accordance with Georgian tax legislation and relevant standards; Posting of payments based on the electronic system, bringing materials and warehouse units to the balance with correct values; Responsibility for the correctness of primary documentation and corresponding posting of commodity items/materials write-offs; Analysis of remaining warehouse units at the project and, if necessary, requesting additional technical documentation for write-off purposes; Monthly comparison of actual warehouse balances with program balances and reflection of corrections in the program; Management of fixed assets register, write-off by responsible persons, recording changes, depreciation file/calculation and program accrual; Compilation, updating, and archiving of loan debt/interest unified register/file according to schedules, requesting contracts, and posting if necessary; Audit and additional functions: participation in internal and external audit processes, processing, analysis, and provision of additional information and documentation within the competence, and participation in relevant processes, in agreement with the direct supervisor.

Experience:

At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position; Experience working with the "FINA" program.

Knowledge:

Higher education in finance, economics, or business administration; Knowledge of using 1C or similar accounting software; Knowledge of office computer programs (especially Microsoft Excel); Desirable: communicative level of foreign language proficiency;
