Administrator/Coordinator

The Batumi Navigation University announces a vacancy: Administrator/Coordinator of the Information System for Managing Vocational Education (online VET / electronic journal); Working schedule: Full-time

The goal of the position: To ensure the continuous, smooth and efficient functioning of the information system for managing vocational education processes (online VET); To provide technical and consultative support to target groups involved in the system (administration, vocational education teachers, vocational students) in order to ensure the accuracy and timely reflection of data.

Main functions and responsibilities: - Database management: Timely input, update and control of data on students, teachers, educational programs and training modules in the online VET system. - Reflection of the educational process: Generation and management of study schedules, calendar plans, student attendance and assessment journals in the system. - Support: Providing individual or group consultations to system users (vocational education teachers and students), elimination of problems related to system access (authorization) and work. - Monitoring and reporting: Monitoring the timely and accurate input of student attendance and assessments by teachers in the electronic journal. Preparation of statistical data, extracts and reports for the administration as needed. - Fault management: In case of software malfunction, identification of the problem and timely communication with the relevant technical/support team (Ministry base administrators or IT department) to eliminate it.

Qualification requirements (education and experience): - Education: Higher education (preferably in information technology, education administration, business administration or related fields). - Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar position, working with databases, electronic registers or educational information systems. - Knowledge of programs: Basic knowledge of office computer programs (especially MS Excel - at a medium or high level). - Additional knowledge: Basic knowledge of vocational education legislation and features of the educational process is desirable.

Personal skills and competencies: - Attention to detail: Ability to work with numbers, personal data and assessments with high accuracy. - Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact effectively and politely with users (students, teachers). - Problem solving: Analytical thinking and ability to react quickly in case of technical malfunctions; - Time management: Ability to work on several tasks simultaneously and perform tasks within set deadlines.

Working conditions and remuneration: - Workplace: Tamar King Street, 38, Makhinjauri; - Working schedule: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 10:00-18:00); - Remuneration: 1200 GEL (accrued); - Probation period: 3 months; - Additional benefits: Health insurance, promotion of professional development/training;
