AML Officer

Misso "Bermeli / Bermeli" is announcing a vacancy for the position of AML Officer in Batumi.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance of internal processes, policies, documents, and products with legislation;
• Providing consultations to the company's structural units on legislative issues and actively interacting with them to ensure constant compliance with regulatory issues;
• Familiarization with legislative changes and regulations of the National Bank, its news, and changes, and implementation in the company's work;
• Processing information about a physical and legal person wishing to establish a business relationship, risk assessment;
• Controlling the proper execution of the client's (including a person making a one-time transaction) identification/verification process;
• Taking appropriate CDD/EDD measures for clients with increased risk;
• Fulfilling/ submitting tasks specified by the supervisor, submitting information about the work done.

• Notarization of the contract;
• Cancellation of registered mortgages according to the established procedure;

Main requirements:

• Higher legal education;
• At least 1 year of work experience in a similar position is desirable;
• Knowledge of office programs ("Microsoft Word" and "Microsoft Excel") is necessary;

Work schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00-18:00; Saturday 09:20-14:20, 40-hour workweek. Remuneration: 2500 GEL (GROSS)
