Insurance company "Unison" is announcing a vacancy for the position of Chief Accountant.

Main responsibilities:

Planning, organizing, and managing accounting activities; Coordinating the activities of subordinate employees and controlling the work performed; Monthly processing of bank statements and accounting for relevant accounting transactions; Recording, comparing, and controlling the accuracy of financial obligations with reinsurers and insurance brokers; Exporting data from the insurance program to the accounting program and verifying their accuracy; Providing information to the legal department about withdrawn amounts; Preparing and submitting tax declarations to the Revenue Service; Preparing and submitting declarations related to pension contributions to the relevant authorities; Preparing and submitting quarterly reports to the National Statistics Service; Providing relevant information to the reporting service to combat money laundering and illegal income legalization within the competence; Participating in preparing monthly reports to be submitted to the Insurance State Supervision Service; Participating in the financial audit process and preparing requested documentation and information; Performing other tasks of the Financial Director within the competence.

Qualification requirements:

Higher education in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields; At least 3 years of experience working in accounting; Experience in managing an accounting or financial team will be considered an advantage; Knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and tax reporting principles; Practical experience in preparing financial and accounting statements; Knowledge of accounting programs and MS Excel; Ability to analyze and reconcile financial data; High sense of responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail; Ability to manage time effectively and handle several processes in parallel; Teamwork and effective communication skills.
