Junior Technical Engineer

Construction company LLC "Alumet" announces a vacancy for the position of Facade Engineer.

LLC "Alumet" has been operating in the construction sector since 2009. The company's main direction is the installation of aluminum and glass facade systems, aluminum and metal-plastic doors and windows, ventilated facades, and glass railings.

We are looking for an experienced Facade Engineer who can work independently on the technical part of the project - from processing architectural and technical documentation, technical solutions for systems and nodes, preparation of material quantities and production tasks.

Main functions and responsibilities

• Reading, analyzing, and processing architectural and technical drawings;
• Preparation of working and detailed drawings in AutoCAD and processing of aluminum systems/structures in Orgadata;
• Development of technical solutions and nodes for aluminum doors and windows and facade systems;
• Preparation and management of project technical documentation;
• Preparation of quantity surveys for the project;
• Participation in the preparation of orientation estimates and quantity surveys of completed works;
• Determination of required material quantities for the project;
• Comparison and control of purchased material quantities with project requirements;
• Preparation and issuance of production tasks for the enterprise;
• Preparation of lists and quantities of installation materials required for the object;
• Technical coordination between design, production, and installation processes;
• Coordination with project managers, enterprise, purchasing department, and other relevant departments;
• Timely identification of technical issues and possible discrepancies and development of appropriate solutions;
• Constant analysis and optimization of work processes to increase efficiency and reduce losses.

Qualification requirements

• Higher education in engineering, technical, or related fields;
• At least 3 years of work experience as a Facade Engineer or similar position;
• Practical experience working with aluminum doors and windows and facade systems - required;
• Good knowledge of Orgadata and experience working independently in the program - required;
• Experience in processing technical solutions and nodes for aluminum doors and windows and facade systems;
• Ability to read and process construction, architectural, and technical drawings;
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD;
• Knowledge of Excel at a minimum average level;
• Knowledge of ArchiCAD or other relevant engineering programs will be considered an advantage;
• Knowledge of English and/or Russian will be considered an advantage;
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail;
• Ability to independently analyze and solve technical problems;
• Ability to work independently and as a team;
• High sense of responsibility and organization.

Working conditions

• Workplace - Tbilisi;
• Working days - Monday to Friday; Saturday - half-day if necessary;
• Salary - 3,500-5,000 GEL, depending on experience and qualifications;
