Chief Accountant

LLC "Buildkings" is a dynamically developing construction and rehabilitation company that implements large infrastructure state tenders and restoration and rehabilitation of cultural heritage monuments and emergency buildings.

We are looking for a qualified, responsible, and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join our professional team to effectively implement current and planned activities.

Job conditions:

**Position title:** Accountant; **Workplace:** Tbilisi; **Work schedule:** Monday-Friday, full-time: 10:00-19:00 (1 hour break); **Salary:** 3,500-4,000 GEL per month, considering the candidate's qualifications and professional experience.

Main responsibilities:

Daily operations accounting in the system based on primary documents; Recording contractors' completed work acts and deducting advances; Accounting for funds for each contractor; Subscribing to acts with clients for the full amount, deducting advances, and recording withheld amounts; Accrual and offset of VAT on received advances; Accounting for the receipt and write-off of construction materials by objects; Accounting for expenses and income within project codes and articles; Reflection of banking operations and comparison of statements; Accounting for bank guarantees and commissions; Providing weekly data to the financial manager for cash flow; Comparing balances with suppliers and contractors; Accrual of salary, calculation of income tax, and pension contribution; Preparation and submission of VAT, profit, and other monthly declarations; full responsibility for tax obligations; Control of electronic invoices and waybills on rs.ge, checking personal cards; Communication with the Revenue Service and participation in inspections; Accounting for fixed assets (equipment, machinery) and accrual of depreciation; Closing the month by the 10th of the next month; Preparation of annual financial statements and submission to SARAS; Preparation of documentation for audit and bank.

Qualification requirements:

Higher education in accounting, finance, or economics; At least 2-3 years of experience as an accountant; experience in the construction or import sector will be considered an advantage; Knowledge of Georgian tax legislation and accounting principles; Practical experience working on rs.ge, including tax declarations, electronic invoices, and waybills; Knowledge of accounting for settlements with contractors, advances, withheld amounts, and receivables and payables; Knowledge of import operations, inventory, and fixed assets accounting; Knowledge of accounting programs (ORIS, 1C, or others); Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel; High sense of responsibility, accuracy, organization, and attention to detail; Ability to work independently and as a team, analytical thinking, and meeting deadlines; Practical experience working in the construction sector is mandatory.
