Construction Engineer

About the company

Our company carries out construction, infrastructure, and rehabilitation works, including the rehabilitation of retaining walls, shore protection works, and various rehabilitation works and municipal projects.

We are looking for an experienced, responsible, and qualified construction engineer to lead the ongoing work on construction sites, ensure that projects are executed in accordance with the plans, and prepare relevant technical and reporting documentation as needed.

Main responsibilities:

• Full management and organization of ongoing work on construction sites;
• Detailed study of projects, construction drawings, and technical documentation, and their correct application in practice;
• Management of the construction process of retaining walls, shore protection structures, and other infrastructure objects;
• Planning of work, compilation of work schedules, and control of deadlines;
• Effective distribution of workers, equipment, and necessary construction resources;
• Control of the quality of construction work, technological processes, and compliance with the project;
• Determination, recording, and preparation of relevant documentation for the volume of work performed;
• Preparation of cost estimates, calculations, and corrections as needed;
• Preparation of Form No. 2 and other reporting documentation for completed work;
• Technical processing of changes and corrections to the project as needed, preparation of relevant justifications and documentation;
• Identification of discrepancies in design documentation and proposal of relevant technical solutions;
• Determination of the required quantity of construction materials and control of their consumption;
• Working communication with the client, technical supervision, designers, and other involved parties;
• Preparation of periodic reports on the progress of work;
• Control of compliance with labor safety requirements and construction norms;
• Timely identification of technical problems arising at the facility and organization of their resolution.

Qualification requirements:

• Higher education in construction engineering or a related technical field;
• Practical experience working in the construction sector;
• Ability to independently read and analyze construction drawings and design documentation;
• Experience in independently managing construction sites and organizing work processes;
• Knowledge of cost estimation and correction;
• Experience in preparing Form No. 2 and calculating the volume of work completed;
• Ability to technically process changes and corrections to the project;
• Knowledge of construction materials, technologies, and work execution sequence;
• Ability to correctly calculate work volumes, materials, and required resources;
• Ability to effectively manage construction equipment and labor;
• Experience in preparing technical documentation and working with reporting tables;
• High sense of responsibility, organization, and ability to make independent decisions;
• Possibility of constant presence at the facility and direct involvement in the work process.

Additional advantages will be considered:

• Experience in retaining walls and shore protection works;

• Experience in implementing tender projects;
• Knowledge of AutoCAD;
• Ability to work with Excel and construction cost estimation programs;
• Experience in preparing acts of completed work, hidden work acts, and other technical documentation.
