Junior Demi Chef

Restaurant "Iakobi's Yard" is announcing a vacancy for a Junior Demi Chef position in the pastry department.

Main responsibilities

• Food preparation and production

• Preparation of dishes according to established recipes and standards;
• Preliminary preparation of ingredients (mise en place);
• Proper handling, cutting, preparation, and storage of products;
• Performance of work process in agreement with the responsible chef;
• Quality control, visual appearance, and portioning of dishes.

• Support for kitchen operations;
• Execution of tasks assigned by the chef and sauce chef;
• Assistance in a specific kitchen section
• Ensuring fast and efficient work during peak hours;
• Participation in timely and accurate preparation of orders.

• Quality and standards compliance;
• Compliance with hotel culinary standards;
• Control of taste, temperature, and presentation of dishes;
• Reduction of food waste;
• Compliance with HACCP and food safety rules.

• Hygiene and safety;
• Constant control of workplace cleanliness;
• Proper use of kitchen inventory and equipment;
• Compliance with sanitary norms;
• Participation in controlling product storage periods and temperature regimes.

• Teamwork;

Requirements for the candidate:
