Job Description The goal of the Team Lead is to effectively manage the team, ensure the quality of monitoring processes, manage risks, develop employees, and constantly improve processes.
Functions and Responsibilities: - Determine the team's functional plan and control its execution; - Operational management of the team, distribution of work, and ensuring coordinated and motivated work of employees; - Preparation and presentation of monthly reports on team results and quarterly presentations; - Control the quality of monitoring plans' execution and monitoring results; - Assess the risk of existing processes in coordination with the Operational Risk team, according to the RCSA methodology; - Formation, update, and improvement of monitoring procedures based on RCSA and risk recommendations; - Initiate and coordinate the improvement, optimization, and automation of monitoring methodology, controls, and procedures; - Analysis of monitoring results, trends, systemic gaps, and risks; - Identify the causes of frequent errors and defects and plan preventive measures; - Develop recommendations, additional controls, and monitoring mechanisms to strengthen control of high-risk processes and operations; - Timely escalation of significant and critical cases to relevant departments; - React to problems identified within monitoring, investigate their causes, and coordinate measures to eliminate them; - Support the implementation of initiatives to improve processes and reduce risks based on monitoring results; - Assess, coach, share knowledge, and facilitate professional development of employees; - Support the adaptation and training process of new employees; - Initiate updates to internal regulations, procedures, and instructions; - Effective collaboration with teams of divisions, departments, risk management, compliance, audit, and other departments; - Responsibility for team results according to defined KPI; - Performance of other legitimate tasks assigned by the manager.
Qualification - Higher education in Finance, Economics, Business, Law, or a related field (Bachelor's/Master's degree). - At least 3 years of experience in the banking/insurance/audit sector. - At least 2 years of experience in monitoring/operations/risk/AML (preference will be given to risk/AML experience) - Experience working in a managerial position (at least 1 year) - Willingness to work with AI tools and modern technologies
