Day Nurse in Ophthalmology

A multidisciplinary, high-tech clinic "New Hospitals National Center of Ophthalmology" is announcing a vacancy for the position of a day nurse.

Qualification requirements:

• Education: Higher or secondary medical professional education - profession: nurse;

• Experience: At least 1-year experience of working as a nurse in the ophthalmological sector or operating block (experience in working with intravitreal injections / Avastin procedures is desirable);

• Professional knowledge: Knowledge of ophthalmological procedures, modern standards / protocols of asepsis and antiseptics;

• Skills: Fluent written and verbal communication skills.

Main responsibilities:

• Preparation of ophthalmological patients for intravitreal injection;

• Assisting the doctor during Avastin injection and other eye procedures;

• Preparation of the injection / operating area, instruments and materials with full compliance with asepsis rules;

• Strict adherence to infection prevention and control standards;

• Monitoring patients in the post-procedure period and providing them with relevant recommendations;

• Production of relevant medical documentation.
