Internship - Laboratory Analyst

"Hanwells Cement" has been operating in Georgia since 2006 and is a leading brand in the local cement and concrete market. The company owns cement plants in Kaspi and Rustavi, as well as a cement mill in Poti and a cement terminal in Supsa. Hanwells Cement is the sole producer of clinker in Georgia. The country's first concrete plant was launched in 2009. Currently, Hanwells Cement operates 15 concrete plants.

"Hanwells Cement" is announcing an internship for the position of Laboratory Analyst at the Kaspi Cement Plant.

Work location: Kaspi, Parnavazi Street N2 Work schedule: Shift work, no more than 40 hours a week. Internship duration: 1 month Number of vacant positions: 1

Main responsibilities:

Taking and bringing samples according to the schedule; Conducting clinker and cement analysis on XRF, XRD and granulometer; Timely digitization of the results of the conducted analyzes; Timely informing the shift supervisor in case of violations; To comply with the rules of operation of devices and laboratory equipment; Shift handover, getting acquainted with and filling out the journal; Compliance with the company's existing labor safety rules and regulations;

Requirements and skills:

Higher and/or professional education in the field of chemistry or building materials technology; At least 1 year of experience in a similar position is desirable; Good knowledge of MS Office; Ability to analyze data; Sense of responsibility; Teamwork; Attention to detail;
