Environmental and Occupational Safety Consulting Company "Gergili" is announcing a vacancy for Occupational Safety Specialist and Junior Occupational Safety Specialist positions.

Location: Tbilisi, regions (with business trips) Work schedule: Full-time Remuneration: Determined according to the candidate's qualifications

Occupational Safety Specialist:

Requirements: - Mandatory accredited program in occupational safety certificate/diploma; - Desirable 1-2 years of work experience in occupational safety; - Desirable English language proficiency (B1-B2 level); - Knowledge of office programs; - Necessary written documentation skills; - Mandatory driving license and driving skills.

Functions:

• Control of occupational safety requirements considering the legislation of Georgia;
• Development and control of norms and procedures provided by the occupational safety policy;
• Inspection of objects, identification of hazards and risks, development of relevant preventive measures;
• Production of complete occupational safety documentation and participation in the development of procedures as required by law;
• Training of employees on safety norms and procedures;
• Control of activities related to occupational safety carried out by contractor companies;
• Implementation of relevant procedures in case of violation.

Junior Occupational Safety Specialist:

Requirements: - Desirable accredited program in occupational safety certificate or diploma or/and studying in a relevant accredited program and being at the stage of completion. - Desirable English language proficiency (B1-B2 level); - Knowledge of office programs; - Desirable written documentation skills; - Mandatory driving license and driving skills.

Functions: Participation in the development of the following issues: - Familiarization with the current occupational safety legislation and internal procedures and participation in the process of practical application; - Participation in monitoring the fulfillment of occupational safety requirements under the supervision of a mentor/responsible specialist; - Participation in the process of object inspection and assistance in identifying existing hazards and risks; - Participation in the process of risk assessment and development of relevant preventive measures; - Participation in the preparation and update of occupational safety documentation; - Participation in planning and conducting employee instructions and trainings; - Performance of practical tasks with experienced occupational safety specialists and gaining professional experience.
